ABOUT ME

I grew up in a house with a mother who was a painter. Over the years I  hand-painted rocks, I made greeting cards for everybody, I painted t-shirts and dabbled in watercolor and pastel landscapes.  I found it difficult to support myself through my art and fell into a  habit of making gifts for friends and family.  It wasn't until recently that a wonderful artist and mentor guided me back into my work, where I discovered the joys of abstract painting. This is where I have found a home at last for my bouyant creative expression and now paint with innate curiosity and exploration, one that I hope will make people feel the happiness and joyful place where my heart is.  I have a deep appreciation for all artists who are brave enough to show us glimpses of their most vulnerable and true selves. We are all unique, and in that, we are all the same.
